A very fine, decorative singing bird box
with original box and original key

This remarkable singing bird box has a gilt case which is lavishly ornamented with floral decorations. On the left side of the automaton is a slide to open the cover. Hidden within is a rotating singing bird which is able to open the beak and beating the wings. By actuation of the slide on the front side, the box cover opens and appears a magnificent singing bird that whistles a melody. The rectangular movement has a bellow to move the singing bird. This singing bird box will be winded by a key on the bottom.
