This very fine gold enamel hunting case pocket watch was manufactured in the second half of the 19th century. The decorative 14k gold case appears very remarkable with its enamel decorations on both sides. The front of the case shows a central polychrome enamelled medallion with the depiction of a graceful beauty. Her hair is finely decorated with floral gold decoration and a red ribbon with two set pearls. On the back side is a translucent black medallion with gold floral ornaments. The case is equipped by a 14k gold dome which has manufacturer's engravings. The enamel dial has radial Roman hours and outer five-minute divisions with radial Arabic minutes. The fine, gilt bridge movement was cleaned in March of 2017 and is running very well.
